Mazzo The Hunter

Mazzo the Hunter is a bounty hunter of some renown, not the best and not the worst. Just don’t let him know that he’s not *that* big of a deal since Mazzo’s ego is as large as the C class planet he hails from. A preening, insecure, boasting lout, Mazzo is deadly and unpredictable. He is rude, entitled and will disrespect your mother. His bad personality has surprisingly held him back from the lofty reputation he thinks he holds within the bounty hunter guild, too many bridges rashly burned. Mazzo's Kepler- lizard plasma fueled cloak allows him to bend light to appear invisible or can be used to dazzle and blind opponents while his sharp claws or heavy blade finishes the job.

This doll is 18" tall with a loc-line armature with a foam body and faux fur over it. The knife is a real metal blade made by Ronin_Ink over on instagram with a tiny worbla sheath that I made. The head, feet, cloak spines, cloak feathers and hands are sculpted in Monster Clay and cast in translucent urethane. His chest armor and middle back armor are kitbashed parts from various military model kits. The plasma batteries are clear tubes filled with florescent dyed urethane. The cloak is a mix of thin leather with cotton fabric while the long iridescent feathers are cast in flexible urethane with the iridescent powder brushed into the mold. He is very poseable and hold his weight very well!
This one is not for sale at this time. As a full time, self employed artist who makes a lot of casts and copies to earn my living, I enjoy making a piece that I can put a lot of time and focus into instead of always producing work that is made to sell and can't have too much time invested ( as that can drive the final price to unrealistic heights). These projects always allow me to learn some new skills and try out some ideas that are time consuming and aren't production friendly.
